A-List Stars Attend Miu Miu’s Nature-Inspired Fashion Show

The earthy aroma of soil greeted attendees before they even set foot on Miu Miu’s moss-covered catwalk, creating an unexpected sensory experience during the final stretch of fashion month. The natural scent provided a surprising contrast to the typical fashion week atmosphere, making notable guests like Joey King, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Lola Tung, and Tyla feel as though they might want to remove their designer shoes and feel the earth beneath their feet.

Among the celebrity attendees was model and social media personality Nara Smith, who expressed her appreciation for connecting with nature through barefoot experiences. She described walking without shoes on natural surfaces as both freeing and centering, though she noted her preference for avoiding sharp objects due to having delicate feet.

Smith revealed she was drawing inspiration not only from the fashion presentation but also for interior design purposes, as she’s currently renovating her residence. This comes after she recently shared social media content showing water damage to her newly renovated home following severe winter weather.

The venue’s aesthetic suggested a shift toward bold design choices, featuring vintage-style botanical wallpapers throughout the expansive Palais d’Iena space, moving away from minimalist white interiors. The visual impact was enhanced by towering mirrors that made spectators appear small in comparison, while a varied group of models walked the runway, including Gillian Anderson, Sateen Besson, Sofia Isella, and Donkey Kid.

Smith characterized the overall design aesthetic as having a sophisticated grandmother-inspired quality, though few grandmothers could match the refined taste of Miuccia Prada’s creative vision.
